PAFFREL has been working for many years to strengthening democracy through positive electoral reforms in Sri Lanka.
A discussion on introducing an Online Electoral Reforms Progress Tracker was held on 20 September 2022 at Radisson Hotel, Colombo. PAFFREL has invited for a number of election monitoring organizations and government institutions for being take part of this special occasion including Human Rights Commission, Right to Information Commission, Sri Lanka Parliament, Attorney General department and Election Commission of Sri Lanka.
The main objective of this Electoral Reforms Progress tracker is to aware general public and other relevant parties about electoral related reforms submitted by different parties and its progress. This is an open online platform and accessible for responsible parties to update their proposals, private bills in relation to the aforementioned subject. The tracker will design in all three languages & it has to be launched in October 2022.
